We are extremely picky about the island we run our expeditions on and the instructors who run them. To distil it, our formula is pretty simple. Prefer a private trip with just your friends? You can do that too. After the best shower of your life and a marvel at white bed sheets we head out for a 3-course meal and survival celebration and try to put the past 10 days into words. Rescue arrives by speed boat laden with treats for your return to the hotel. After your training is complete, you are returned to your primitive beginnings, marooned to now live out a survival adventure of a lifetime, applying your new skills and survive with limited equipment finding food from the land and making fire by friction. It is effectively survival light, whilst you develop your skills and grow in confidence.ħ2-hour survival phase.
There are games, and surprises and plenty of fun to be had. During this time you will eat well and sleep comfortably in expedition hammocks. From making fire by friction to opening coconuts, catching fish making traps and so much more. Your first 5 days will be focused on learning bushcraft survival skills from our expert instructors.
The first 5 nights on the island are your training phase the final 3 are raw survival with little more than just a machete. It starts and finishes in a top notch hotel with 8 night on a desert island sandwiched in between.
